Response times

We answer support email within one business day. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm Pacific Time.

Urgent issues (your team can't clock in, can't access the app at all, or a data loss concern) — note "URGENT" in the subject line. We aim to respond within four hours during business hours and first thing the next business day for after-hours.

Safety emergencies are not a support email concern — call 911 first, then let us know after.

Common questions

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your work email. You'll get a reset link within a few minutes. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or email us and we'll reset it manually.

How do I add a new employee to my organization?

Owners and managers can invite team members from the web dashboard at app.worktrac.io → Settings → Team. New employees receive an email invitation with sign-in instructions.

My GPS / location tracking isn't working.

Open your device settings → Privacy → Location Services → WorkTrac, and make sure "Always" is selected (this is required for background tracking while you're clocked in). The app also has to be running in the background — force-quitting it stops tracking. If you've checked both and it's still not working, email us.

How do I export my data?

Owners can request a full account data export from the web dashboard → Settings → Data & Privacy → Export My Data. We deliver the export as a ZIP within 30 days (typically same day for small accounts).

Two-factor authentication setup

On the iOS app: More → Profile & Account → Security & 2FA → "Add a 6-digit code at sign-in." You'll scan a QR code with any TOTP authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy). Backup codes are shown once — save them. After enabling, you'll be signed out and need to sign back in with your password and a 6-digit code.

My team is offline in the field. Will the app still work?

Yes. WorkTrac is built for spotty cellular and full-offline job sites. Clock in/out, complete tasks, attach photos, send messages — everything queues locally and syncs automatically when you reconnect. You'll see a small "syncing" indicator at the top of the screen when there's a queued action.

Account & subscription management

Subscription plans, billing, payment method, seats, and add-ons are all managed from the web dashboard at app.worktrac.io. The mobile app is the worker and manager interface — the dashboard is for the office.

Bug reports & feedback

We treat bug reports as the highest-priority email category. Include the device model, app version (Settings → About on iOS, drawer footer on Android), and as much detail as you can about what happened and what you expected. Screenshots help a lot.

Feature requests are also welcome — every one gets read. We can't promise to build everything, but the requests genuinely shape the roadmap.

Security concerns

For security disclosures, email security@worktrac.io directly. We take every report seriously and will respond within 24 hours.

Please do not publicly disclose security issues before we've had a chance to investigate. We commit to acknowledging reports promptly, keeping you updated on our fix progress, and crediting you publicly if you wish.

Status & outages: in the rare event of a service interruption, we post updates to our email list of org owners. If your team can't sign in and our site appears down, give it 5-10 minutes — most outages resolve quickly.
